I am very happy with my 13.3" MBA with 2 USB ports. But I have to admit, I am envious of the potential experience with the lightning fast Thunderbolt I/O in the latest MBP.
I started without Backlit Keyboard, and I am cool with that (although not as much elegant-looking, it saves unnecessary battery power).
And yes, I'd like to see a microfibre cloth included in the box! It's just too cheap yet important for any MBA users!

how many of us actually care much about aperture...?
Personally I much prefer Lightroom. There's way too much wrong with RAW workflow in Aperture.

I think the iPhone 4's screen is too small and has not increased in size physically since the original iphone launch almost 4 years ago. It's time for a screen size increase, either equivalent to or slightly smaller than HTC's 4.3" behemoth. Apple should go S-Amoled with IPS or OLED which requires no backlight and therefore extends battery life.

I am a big fan of the technology brought into the world by TiVo and ReplayTV, but TiVo has been one of the most amazingly horribly run companies I have ever seen. I am shocked they are still in business...and I guess they can thank Dish for that...
Wow... first I've EVER heard someone say a TV\Satellite Provider's DVR doesn't suck. I got rid of DirecTV cause their DVR sucked.
I went to Comcast, and had a Tivo Series 3 then now a Premier, and you'd have to pry this thing out of my cold dead hands. Tivo is arrogant, like Apple, but can be so because they have a quality product that no competitor touches.
You have your opinion, but anyone with a Tivo would disagree, lol, and you shouldn't be surprised their out of business because people love them, just to clue you in, hehe

Well the iMacs did get the Core 2 Dou processors after the Mac Pro. The Mac Pros came out with Core 2 Dou first.
just so you know, mac pro NEVER had, let along past tense, Core 2 Duo (or Core 2 Dou)
Woodcrest (Xeon), as much as it might have the similar technology underlying its processor, is NOT Core 2 Duo.

I am new here to the forum and was wondering if anyone could advise why only some of my contacts have matched accross?
Is it due to the fact that some of my numbers start +44 in my phonebook and they may start 07.... in facebook??
not sure what credentials it uses to compare and match the different phonebooks i.e name, number ect.

And yes, some driving can be cut down, but not all of it. Plus a large chuck of driving is required, many people live in suburban areas and need to drive to work.
There was a study recently that showed that the bulk of suburban driving was non-work related and that most of those trips were less than two miles. We need to drive a lot less than we think we do.

Here we go kids!! Expect lot's of grandstanding and some real knee jerk legislation cause this IS the year to gear up for the big election. I wish someone would inform people that it's their responsibility to be informed consumers AND parents. My kid racked up $380 in cell downloads in one month. I didn't need my senator to step in. I took away her phone for a month, blocked her ability to purchase ANYTHING on it, and worked out the bill with my provider (AT&T) who practically wiped it all away. This is just going to burden us with more laws and subsequently, more taxes in the form of direct taxation of products, indirect taxes by way of price hikes due to a rise in business tax, or BOTH.
Amazing, a parent that actually does what they are supposed to.

Reboot and hold down Option this time for the boot loader. If you used the utilities your Startup Disk is probably set to the Windows partition. Though it is strange that you are not booting to the installation disc.

Just unlock and go over. Or sit on your hands and wait for official.
I have been with Tmo for almost a year now with a 3GS and have unlimited everything and it works perfectly and much cheaper than ATT... Whats so funny is that Tmo has had a "iPhone" Tech help for 3 years gone now.....

I like the "feel" of this picture and the muted soft colors. It gives me a sense of peace and solitude. I would have liked the horse more to the left of the frame with more space to the right where he/she is looking. Great capture overall.

I would love something along the lines of a nano that made phone calls. I could even do without the numeric pad.
I'm with you. I already catched myself looking up a number in my nano's address book ("contacts") and looking for the "call" item. I'd love to have the main menu going "Music \n Phone \n Phone \n Extras etc." But the nano might actually be a little small for a phone. Try holding one at your ear for a minute. How about an add-on that you plug in on the bottom via the dock connector? Makes the thing a little longer and you can just upgrade your iPod. Kinda like the iTrip, but in the exact same design as the iPod itself.

Omg with no laptop updates, I'd like to watch as Apple's laptop sales tumble. Already the Apple Store dropped their MacBook shipping days down to 3-5 days (nobody wants it). :mad:

Can't wait to see Aperture running on a Macbook. Though I'll definitely go into the Regent St Apple Store to see it running before buying it just incase Apple is being a bit optimistic when it says it 'runs' on a Macbook. It barely run on the Mac Pro I was playing around with at the Store today.
Anyone know when the stores update their software? Is it done straight away?
